Since 2004, turning used oil into a clean future.
Recóleo Vegetable Oil Collection & Recycling was born from the unease of seeing frying oil end up in the rivers. Today we collect, treat and turn that oil into energy — biodiesel and now SAF.

The concern
A year and a half before opening, the founders were already studying the problem: used frying oil was dumped straight into storm and sewage drains, contaminating water.
Founding
Recóleo is founded in Belo Horizonte, combining environmental care with income generation.
Growth and franchises
Operations grow and franchised units open across Minas Gerais and other states.
Science and awards
Academic book with UFMG, UNESCO recognition and the Hugo Werneck Award.
From drop to SAF
With 11 units and over 3,000 clients in Greater BH, the oil becomes biodiesel and already feeds SAF.
